Therapy Services- (Individual) All ages: PreK-High School
When a student registers for sessions with the Licensed Professional Counselor, an initial assessment is performed involving both the child and family members. Parents begin by filling out a questionnaire which is submitted before the assessment. Strengths, weaknesses, leisure interests and involvement, and skills in the treatment area are evaluated. A plan for treatment is developed in conjunction with the insights of family members. During and after implementation of treatment ongoing evaluation will be conducted to determine student progress. Family members will receive guidance for home and school implementation.
